Logistics

Freight, customs and warehousing

Mozaik moves its own cargo. The same desk — air, sea, road, rail and warehousing, run from Dubai by Mozaik Investment and Management LLC — is available to clients shipping independently of our trading divisions.

What we move

Six ways to get cargo where it is going.

Dubai sits between the East and the West, which is why the group clears so much through it. Mode is chosen by what the cargo can afford in time and in money — and switched mid-route when the answer changes.

Air Freight
01

Air Freight

Time-critical consignments on scheduled and charter capacity out of Dubai and the group's other bases. This is the option for cargo where shelf life or a production line will not wait — perishables, samples, spare parts and high-value goods. Airport-to-airport or door-to-door, with the customs paperwork prepared before the aircraft lands.

Sea Freight
02

Sea Freight

Containerised and break-bulk cargo on the main east–west lanes: full container loads where the volume justifies a box, and consolidation where it does not. Most of the group's own trade moves this way, so the routings, rates and documentation are ones we use ourselves rather than ones we have only read about.

Land Freight
03

Land Freight

Road transport across the GCC and inside Europe, from a single pallet to a full trailer. Temperature-controlled equipment where the cargo needs it, and cross-border documentation prepared ahead of the crossing rather than argued about at the barrier.

04

Part-Load Freight

Less-than-truckload road freight for consignments that do not fill a trailer. Shipments are consolidated with others running the same lane, so the buyer pays for the space actually used instead of the whole vehicle — the practical choice for regular, smaller replenishment.

05

Rail Freight

Overland rail on the Asia–Europe corridors, sitting between sea on cost and air on speed. It suits steady, repeating volumes where transit time matters but air pricing does not work, and it is increasingly the lower-carbon answer on those routes.

Warehousing & Trading
06

Warehousing & Trading

Storage and handling in Dubai, alongside the group's European warehouse at Montmirail. General, bonded and temperature-controlled space: goods can be held in free zone before duty is paid, picked and packed to a retailer's specification, and released against orders as they come in.

Around the movement

The part that is not the vehicle.

Most of what goes wrong in freight goes wrong on paper, in storage or at a border. Those are handled by the same desk that books the space, so nobody is passed between suppliers when a consignment stalls.

  • 01 Customs clearance and documentation
  • 02 Free-zone and bonded storage
  • 03 Temperature-controlled handling
  • 04 Shipment tracking through transit
  • 05 Flexible routing and mode switching
  • 06 Inventory holding and order release

Why it sits inside a trading group

We are our own most demanding client.

The freight desk exists because the trading divisions needed it: fresh produce on a delivery window, seafood under an unbroken cold chain, stone by the container, fertilizer by the vessel. Every lane offered here is one the group already runs cargo on, priced and documented the way we need it to work for ourselves.

For our buyers

Delivered, not just sold

Goods bought from any of the eight divisions can be quoted delivered to the destination, on one contract and one point of contact.

For third parties

Freight on its own

You do not have to buy anything from us to use the desk. Cargo unrelated to our trade moves on the same lanes and the same terms.

Where we clear

Four jurisdictions

Group entities in the UAE, the UK, Tunisia and France mean customs is handled by a local company at whichever end needs it.
